FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER INTERVIEW
1. What does this collection say about your mindset when you were creating it?
I wanted to create a feel of fantasy. The stylist and I had a modern-day Braveheart in mind; a warrior coming home. We were inspired by such an avant garde looking model.
2. Where do you most often find inspiration from? And when you lose it…what do u do to find it?
I find inspiration from beauty and kindness in the work. Even when there is darkness in my subject matter, I work to draw out the positivity to create timeless images and stories that speak to the viewer. When I find that my well of inspiration has run dry, I take time away; travel, experience different kinds of art and culture. This tends to renew me and bring me back to my art.
3. What is your favorite styled photo shoot? Why did it stand out to you?
Dovima and the Elephants by Richard Avedon. I love everything from the 1950. Fashion was first emerging, women were so elegant in Dior and Givenchy. He created something so unexpected. You see this in so many of his iconic image, including everything he shot of Audrey Hepburn for Bazaar.
4. Why editorial, session work? So many say it’s a dead road… why did you continue to pursue this path?
It is not a dead path, people in fashion look to editorial for inspiration. It is really
beautiful and creative editorials that can land you money jobs.
5. While on set, how do you stay focused?
On this set, for example, I had Vanessa (my amazing stylist and friend) and James my partner. I can be a bit ADD on set, and surrounding myself with a team who can keep me on track is the key.
6. Share with us the most unexpected thing that has happened while on set, good or bad?
The Cows on the farm where we shot were unexpected subjects. These animals were so inquisitive and allowed us to include them in the shoot. You never know what you might stumble upon if you keep eyes and mind open. Instantly I loved the model more, he was able to interact with the cows and make them comfortable.
7. Favorite quote or quotes you live by? And how do u apply them to your work? What is your personal mantra?
Every blade of grass has it’s own angel that bends over it and whispers “Grow, Grow!” I love how the world can be a very inspiring place, and like this quotation, can make you feel like you are not going through the struggle alone, that everything will be OK! I like
to believe in the goodness and kindness of people. This makes my heart happy.
8. Is there anyone experience(s) in particular that you feel has made the biggest impact on
your career?
When I lived in Beijing I discovered a beautiful girl working in a factory. I was their shooting a men’s wear catalogue. My agent and translator thought that she was ugly and awkward. One week later I shot her for Harper’s Bazaar. She when on to be the first Asian girl to shoot the Guess Jean campaign, and walked for countless designers, including Givenchy.
9. What do you believe is a common mistake within the industry? And what can others do to avoid being a cliché?
Everyone always wants to work with seasoned, established artists. I think you can
discover new beautiful thing working with junior artists as well, they are hungry and
looking to take chances. Don’t pass them by!
10. If you could go back to the beginning of your career, what piece of advice would you give your newbie self?
Don't be so egotistical! The world does not revolve around you.
11. Who is your biggest role model and why? What collection stands out in your mind?
My grandparents. I spent summers in Cyprus with them. They taught me simplicity and kindness. My grandfather was a shepherd and my grandmother was a farmer. Their simple life and, respect for the world, and the people who occupy it is an inspiration to me still. I love when Gaultier did his tattoo artwork collection.
12. Favorite adult beverage? Why…and when did u first have one?
Champagne... ah, the bubbles. Everything about this drink and me feel like an adult. Glamorous and chic. I really began to enjoy it when I made the realization that you could

FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER INTERVIEW
1.What does this collection say about your mindset when you were creating it?
I wanted to show a strong, sexy and glamorous girl with a very stylish attitude who does not need a man.
2. Where do you most often find inspiration? And when you lose it...what do u do to find it?
I find my inspiration in details: textures, shapes that I see or find around me. A small thing can then be the start of something big. When I lose it I just need to see the wonder around me – the world is full of richness.
3. What do you look for and lookout for... when putting together the perfect set team?
It is always challenging to put the best people together for each project and even more to make things happen that you would not have imagined.
4. Why editorial, session work? So many say it’s a dead road... why did you continue to pursue this path?
I can't believe that creation ought to be a dead road – on the contrary it is a gate to your untapped potential.
5. While on set, how do you stay focused?
I get into my role while I am on the set – it's like acting. I am living the shoot in order to be able to get the most out of it.
6. Share with us the most unexpected thing that has happened while on set, good or bad.
The most unexpected thing was during a job in India while I was shooting some still-life images on a beach in the Kerala. I suddenly realized that a whole crowd surrounded me when the sun blacked out. The police had to intervene.
7. Favorite quote or quotes you live by? And how do u apply them to your work? What is your personal mantra?
I live from day to day in sowing the best seeds I can find.
8. Is there anyone experience(s) in particular that you feel has made the biggest impact on your career?
None so far. The best is yet to come!
9. What do you believe is a common mistake within the industry? And what can others do to avoid being a cliché?
The most common mistake is general I would say: is when you take yourself too seriously - in becoming too confident you tend to loose your path and follow the wrong values. You just need to be more self aware.
10. Favorite adult beverage? Why...and when did u first have one?
My favorite beverage is a Nespresso cappuccino – what else ;)

FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER INTERVIEW
1. What does this collection say about your mindset when you were creating it?
I wanted to create a story during the monsoon time in a grey weather, and the drizzle. The weather was inspiration for this idea as I planned this to be in black & white and almost everything developed the way I visualized, the model, the makeup & styling all came together.
2. Where do you most often find inspiration from? And when you lose it…what do u do to find it?
I think inspiration in all around us ; it’s just where we want to pick it up. It can be anything, a beautiful location, or a girl who has individualistic features, a journey, a piece of art or the works of accomplished artists. They might be designers, photographers, or any visual artists.
3. What do you look for and lookout for… when putting together the perfect set team?
I just see who’s the perfect person for the style/look I am looking to incorporate in the story. I'll share my ideas & if they like it, we just set on the path of creating something beautiful.
4. Why editorial, session work? So many say it’s a dead road… why did you continue to pursue this path?
I feel editorial work is a blank canvas with so much freedom. It’s a platform for an artist to express his/her ideas & stories in the way he/she wants. That feeling after you create the work the way you had thought gives you a real high.
5. While on set, how do you stay focused?
It’s all in the plan, I try & keep the plan so clear that there is no chance of deviation. In case something comes up & if it’s good, it’s always a plus for the story and if it not so good we take it as a learning experience.
6. Share with us the most unexpected thing that has happened while on set, good or bad.
Funny thing, this particular project we didn't actually plan to go deep into the sea to shoot but me & the model went so far in that we didn't realize it until the water was touching the camera & we rushed back close to shore!
7. Favorite quote or quotes you live by? And how do u apply them to your work? What is your personal mantra?
I remember a great line by Peter Lindbergh, which I follow as well that “The difference in B/W & color is that the reality is in color & b/w is one step towards the interpretation of reality. B/W is one step towards art than reality”
8. Is there anyone experience(s) in particular that you feel has made the biggest impact on your career?
My 2 years spent in London college of fashion. It changed my work drastically
9. What do you believe is a common mistake within the industry? And what can others do to avoid being a cliché?
I think everyone tries to create something in their own way; making mistakes teaches you a lot of things like how to improve for the next project.
10. Favorite adult beverage? Why…and when did u first have one?
I often love beer & like to try different ones whenever I am travelling, especially the local brews. I had it first with my dad when we were on holiday in Goa

FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER INTERVIEW
1. What does this collection say about your mindset when you were creating it?
We wanted to create something simple. Nothing too over styled, over treated, over-lit, etc. When you've got a beautiful girl and some great clothing, you don't need much of anything else. Less is more, my moto for most of my work.
2. Where do you most often find inspiration from? And when you lose it...what do u do to find it?
I find it from all around. Other work, movies, the beach, people watching, my mood. A lot of it comes from nostalgia, I’m always trying to create something that takes me to a place or a feeling that I’m into at that time. The next week, I could totally not be in the mood for that idea. When I lose it, I don’t worry about it, it’ll come back when it feels like it. The more I worry about being more creative, the more it blocks. It’s better for me to take a break, go for a surf, eat some cheese, whatever. Inspiration will come back when it feels like it. You can’t force it.
3. What do you look for and lookout for... when putting together the perfect set team?
Passion! I look for people who are good at what they do and are genuinely passionate about what they are doing. Positive attitude and a sense of humor are essential as well. I'm all about doing the best work possible but having fun doing it as well.
4. Why editorial, session work? So many say it’s a dead road... why did you continue to pursue this path?
Who says editorial is a dead road??!! It is the best way for our creative teams to build our portfolio, practice and perfect our skills, get our names out into the industry and have a creative outlet to do whatever we want.
5. While on set, how do you stay focused?
Coffee and music. It’s not hard to stay focused for me. I am more that happy to be there shooting. Only place I start daydreaming on shoots is if we’re on a beach somewhere and there are surf waves breaking behind me.
6. Share with us the most unexpected thing that has happened while on set, good or bad.
I’m lucky I think. Most of my shoots have gone to plan. The only ¬¬thing that messes with me is weather. Shooting on location, sometimes waves crash on models, winds whip up sand storms, it starts raining when it’s not supposed to, and so on. I've been lucky for the most part.
7. Favorite quote or quotes you live by? And how do u apply them to your work? What is your personal mantra?
Be nice, mean people suck! On one hand, our industry is amazing. It is the best job ever. On the other hand, it can be testing on your confidence and patience. You just have to roll with the punches and stay positive and work hard. Being nice gets you way further in life than being a dick.
8. Is there anyone experience(s) in particular that you feel has made the biggest impact on your career?
Being raised by my parents. They have lived their whole life doing what they wanted to. Not chasing money, but chasing a lifestyle. Then worked out how to make money. I was born in Canada. My brother and I were raised sailing the south Pacific and Caribbean on a sail boat. Then we moved back to Vancouver for high school and once I finished, I was off travelling. I moved to Australia when I was 21. I've been here for the last 13 years. Being a photographer has allowed me to live the lifestyle that my parents did. Making a living out of what I love but also seeing the world as well.
9. What do you believe is a common mistake within the industry? And what can others do to avoid being a cliché?
Trying to be what other people are is a common mistake. Do your own thing and people will respect you more for it.
10. Favorite adult beverage? Why...and when did u first have one?
Right now a Sailor Jerrys rum, ginger ale and muddled lime on ice is my favorite. So tasty. First had one 5 years ago…. I think.

FEATURED MAKEUP ARTIST INTERVIEW
1. What does this collection say about your mindset when you were creating it?
This collection came directly from the inspiration of a sketchbook full of doodles that I was working on at the time. I am actually still working on this themed sketchbook and I plan on printing a few copies once it's finished. It's all based on this meditative expansion technique I feel drawn to. My book has many other people's doodles in it that I expand and is one of my favorite ways to create and play with the people around me.
2. Where do you most often find inspiration from? And when you lose it...what do u do to find it?
Finding inspiration is a really interesting concept. I don't know if I find it as much as it finds me. I believe you have to just cultivate your sensitivity and stillness of mind to receive inspiration as fully and often as possible. I practice paying attention to the steady influx of ideas and images that appear in my minds eye. I have a "see it, do it" motto which for me means that if I see a visual or something "inspires" me I have a responsibility to bring that to fruition. I believe this agreement with the universe along with the faith that these inspirations will continue to flow is what keeps them coming.
3. What's your favorite technique or trick? And who taught it to you?
My favorite techniques and tricks are constantly changing as I learn new things! Currently I'm really into playing with skin texture and keeping a glow in the skin. This I accomplish by not powdering the highlights (or the whole face, if the lighting/feel for the look is right) and sometimes even adding an iridescent fluid or powder to the highlights to reflect light and give the appearance of a freshly hydrated skin even if the application was hours ago. All the little tips I've gleaned to accomplish this texture have been acquired from so many different resources it's hard to pinpoint just one, but currently I am assisting master makeup artist Georgi Hamed and she has shown me quite a few little tricks for doing this among other things.
4. Why editorial, session work? So many say it’s a dead road... why did you continue to pursue this path?
Editorial session work is not the only outlet I have for my makeup artistry. When I work in TV, music videos, press conferences, promotional photo shoots and commercials, those jobs pay quite well, so it affords me time to invest in more creatively fulfilling pursuits like editorial, live stage performances and art in general. I will never let go of my pursuit for editorial publication of my work because looking at beautiful images of makeup when I was younger was a huge push for me to do makeup as a career and I feel that magazines are the art museums of my industry so to have my work featured in them regularly is a great way to share my art with the world.
5. While on set, how do you stay focused?
To stay focused on set I do my best to put the outside world out of mind. I deal with things as they come as much as possible but I make my job on set that day my priority. If my eyes are getting fuzzy I will focus on just one pore on the face to bring my attention back to the present. I try to stay involved even after the makeup is finished and keep a keen eye on the model throughout the duration of the shoot so if she accidentally smudges something or she begins to sweat I am able to fix it immediately and no shot's are wasted on behalf of the makeup not being as perfect as possible.
6. Share with us the most unexpected thing that has happened while on set, good or bad.
I'd have to say the most unexpected thing that's ever happened on set actually resulted in me writhing around on the floor naked on camera in a music video. I got to set to do hair and makeup for the band Beware of Darkness's video for the song "Howl" and was informed that the lead actress did not want to do the proposed naked scenes. I'm not sure what possessed me, perhaps it was simply a lust for new experiences, but I burst out, "I'll do it!!", and before I knew it, it was just me, the camera man and the director in a dirty abandoned warehouse. I just let go and did my thing. It was super invigorating and looking back on it I'm definitely glad I did it.
7. Favorite quote or quotes you live by? And how do u apply them to your work? What is your personal
mantra?
See the answer for question #2 I also like to say, just throw some glitter on that shit. Which is hardly ever the correct answer to a makeup problem, but it is fun to say.
8. Is there anyone experience(s) in particular that you feel has made the biggest impact on your career?
If I had to think of one experience that made the biggest impact on my career I would have to say it would be participating in the IMATS fantasy makeup competition of 2008. Dana Nye (owner of Ben Nye) was a judge and he immediately noticed me and has been supporting me in my career ever since. That's what gave me the ability to begin working for Cirque du Soleil as well and working for Cirque has brought me so many opportunities I would never have imagined prior.
9. What do you believe is a common mistake within the industry? And what can others do to avoid being a
cliché?
I think a common mistake in the industry is to get comfortable. Either in a style or a network or with some technique or another. I find it vital to keep trying new things and working with new people.
10. If you could go back to the beginning of your career, what piece of advice would you give your newbie SELF?
If I could go back to the beginning and give my newbie self a piece of advice it would be to hang in there. Obviously I did hang in there and I'm still hanging, but any encouragement in the beginning to keep doing those cheap or free gigs/art projects and to build my network even if it meant having faith and working with people I had never met before for hardly any immediate gratification besides the assurance that I was building experience and doing what I loved was so welcomed and desperately needed.
11. Who is your biggest role model and why? What collection stands out in your mind?
I don't know if there is any one person I could name as my biggest role model. Honestly anyone who pushes their limits creatively falls into that category even if it's not with makeup. I love many musicians like Lou Reed and David Bowie. Fashion only impresses me when it blurs the lines of wearable art. I've been refining my skills with a lot of clean work lately but that's not really that inspiring to me. It's all so technical. I love the mystics like Alejandro Jodorovski and those that have made their own path and done their own thing in their medium despite what was possible or acceptable. Bring me the fire. I love the fresh breeze that comes after and the mangled earth in it's wake. I want the future me to be my
ultimate role model, not anyone I know about already.
12. What colors are you in love with right now?
I think you asked this color question last time I was published in your magazine and although I do LOVE all colors I am more than happy to revisit it and ask myself what particular hues I am currently most fond of. I'm really into a mix of colors. Like tie-dye and any psychedelic swirling without much rhyme or reason. Pastels and muted earth tones set against bold neons and bright green/blue/yellows are particularly piquing my fancy lately.
13.. Favorite adult beverage? Why...and when did u first have one?
My favorite adult beverage is definitely wine with mimosas following as a close second. I don't remember the absolute first time I ever had wine. I'm pretty sure my parents at least let me have a sip some time around 14 if not earlier. It was likely not until at least 16 or so that I had a half glass to myself. Now I live in Temecula Wine Country and enjoy sampling the local wine's with my husband on my time off.

FEATURED MAKEUP ARTIST INTERVIEW
1. What does this collection say about your mindset when you were creating it?
For me the collection is about strength and delicacy. About how these two aspects come together to create something unique and beautiful. How there’s two sides in a person, one of which is more dominant and visible and the other of which there is only a hint of.
2. Where do you most often find inspiration from? And when you lose it…what do u do to find it?
I mostly find my inspiration from nature. Watching birds or animals, their form and colour pallets is a great source of inspiration. Alot of times, I’m inspired by elements from my dreams, some of which are included to this collection as well. Luckily, I haven't found myself to be lacking inspiration so far.
3. What's your favorite technique or trick? And who taught it to you?
The fancier and more courageous one is while working in this field, the better. I try not to rely on tricks or certain techniques, when I work I try to not to think too much but rather go with the flow, let my hand draw, not my mind.
4. Why editorial, session work? So many say it’s a dead road… why did you continue to pursue this path?
I don’t think it’s a dead road at all! For me personally it’s a field which is more exciting and challenging than other parts of the industry might be.
5. While on set, how do you stay focused?
Alot of my work is created on spot, so the environment itself is my biggest motivator, it keeps me focused. The model, clothing he/she wears inspire me and this in turn drives me to create a complete look. I try to find something which is missing from the complete picture and this search keeps me motivated.
6. Share with us the most unexpected thing that has happened while on set, good or bad.
A few years ago I was working at a fashion show. The set for it was built in a big hangar. The event took place in the middle of a harsh Estonian winter and for some reason the heating systems failed. Since our collection was last to go on stage I was still in the middle of finishing the make-up of all our models. When the show started, the additional lighting was switched off so I was working in the dark, using only my phone’s flashlight. This, combined with a temperature of -20C was a tad challenging. Some of my equipment kept freezing so I had to use some of the hardly-working heat sources to unfreeze them.
7. Favorite quote or quotes you live by? And how do u apply them to your work? What is your personal mantra?
Never say no! You never know what experiences one might gain!
8. Is there anyone experience(s) in particular that you feel has made the biggest impact on your career?
I feel like my career is just setting off so I value each and every experience a lot!
9. What do you believe is a common mistake within the industry? And what can others do to avoid being a cliché?
I think the biggest problem comes from outside of the industry. Common conception is that the work of a person in the fashion industry isn't work at all, or isn't without its hardships. It can't be further from the truth! People I've met and worked with are one the most talented and hard-working individuals. I think a lot of people try to imitate what is already seen and done, whereas they should
focus more on their inner-selves. People need to trust their instincts rather than imitate something which they know has been successful.
10. If you could go back to the beginning of your career, what piece of advice would you give your newbie self ?
I think I’m still at the beginning of my career so I’d currently tell myself to keep working.
11. Who is your biggest role model and why? What collection stands out in your mind?
Pat McGrath. I admire her passion and dedication to her craft and how she was able to step into the world of fashion without prior formal training. This is something which has also encouraged me to continue and strive higher in this field, as I have no formal training or backround either.
12. What colors are you in love with right now?
Black and white, the classical colours which have been my favourite for a long time and most likely will continue to be so.
13.. Favorite adult beverage? Why…and when did u first have one?
Red wine. It was christmastime and I was offered a glass. Let’s just say that I was a young adult.

FEATURED MAKEUP ARTIST INTERVIEW
1. What does this collection say about your mindset when you were creating it?
At the time the time (although I still am), I was fascinated by natural beauty in all its forms. Everyone is beautiful, but in a different, unique way, we wanted to capture this individuality.
2. Where do you most often find inspiration from? And when you lose it…what do u do to find it?
Most of my Inspiration comes from old magazines and books that I have collected over the years. I love the 20's, 60's and 70's from a fashion and beauty perspective.
When I am feeling uninspired, I go for a walk, spend time talking to people I wouldn't normally, go to the cinema, frequent art galleries, and browse the makeup counters.
3. What's your favorite technique or trick? And who taught it to you?
I love to work with wet eye shadows. You get a richer colour payoff, and the product melts into the skin. I saw a makeup artist Claire Thomson do it once when we were working together. Although I have never seen her do it since, and its not common practice, it works for me.
4. Why editorial, session work? So many say it’s a dead road… why did you continue to pursue this path?
Editorial session work is hard, and it takes many years to be in a
position where it can provide equivalent full-time employment. When I was starting out, I never imagined this is what I would end up doing full time. However I had experienced artists around me that continually provided me with the chance to work above my level at the time. I am forever grateful to them, as these opportunities have continued to arise, and as long as they do, I will pursue this path.
5. While on set, how do you stay focused?
When it comes to my work, I am a perfectionist, so it is easy for me to stay focused on set. My goal is always to avoid unnecessary retouching in post where possible, and I hate the idea of a shot being printed that I am not happy with, so I watch everything.
6. Share with us the most unexpected thing that has happened while on set, good or bad.
Hmmm.... it was bad, on the set of a Tv commercial and involving a dog and its owner, and thats about all I can say....
7. Favorite quote or quotes you live by? And how do u apply them to your work? What is your personal mantra?
'it is what it is'.....some things you can't change, we just need to accept them,
and do the best we can given the situation (with a positive attitude). 'its not rocket
science'.... don't take yourself too seriously, what we do is creative, thankfully nobody's life is dependent on our performance.....My personal mantra is do the best you can with every given day, life is about the people in it.
8. Is there anyone experience(s) in particular that you feel has made the biggest impact on your career?
My career has been shaped by many experiences. However the 2 stand outs
are; My first assisting job, it was fashion with a huge set and was shot on film. This is when I first realized this could become my career, and where I met the artist that taught me and guided me over the years. Secondly, my first big commercial beauty advertising job that went wrong. It was not such a pleasant experience, but taught me so much.
9. What do you believe is a common mistake within the industry? And what can others do to avoid being a cliché?
Everything is produced so quickly now. I find a common mistake is over
confidence and not enough finesse. In a makeup context, this is evident with overly heavy handed application..... In my opinion, we should sometimes take a few extra minutes to cross check what we have done and ensure it has been done well. Also, never stop learning, there will always be someone that can do it better than us, we should learn from them.
10. If you could go back to the beginning of your career, what piece of advice would you give your newbie self ?
Find your strength and style and become excellent in that area. Don't ignore your
weaknesses, strive to improve them one at a time. Never stop learning. Do your best. Don't care so much what people think.
11. Who is your biggest role model and why? What collection stands out in your mind?
Virginia Van Heythuysen an incredibly creative and inspiring stylist that is also a lovely and humble person. It is hard for me to pick just one collection as a stand out, If i had to, it would be the story shot in an old burnt out observatory. The location and the fashion were incredible, especially the chanel pieces.
12. What colors are you in love with right now?
Loving Jewel tones, specifically deep jade and ruby. Also, all shades of denim.
13.. Favorite adult beverage? Why…and when did u first have one?
Champagne. Its probably my favorite, because it is the first beverage I ever had. I started young, well before legal age.

FEATURED MAKEUP ARTIST INTERVIEW
1. What does this collection say about your mindset when you were creating it?
It was all about warm colors : bordeaux, red, orange, etc. Those are my favorite colors at the moment.
2. Where do you most often find inspiration from? And when you lose it…what do u do to find it?
I usually draw a lot. Also I will again get inspiration from the street if I lose it. I pay attention to the people in the streets a lot.
3. What's your favorite technique or trick? And who taught it to you?
I was Jonathan Dadoun's assistant, and learned a lot from him. My trick would be drawing, when it comes to make up. Make up is like painting !

I don't know why people think it's a dead road. To me editorial work is a must.

9. What do you believe is a common mistake within the industry? And what can others do to avoid being a cliché?
Photographers often ask me to go for the natural look. I think you should go for the specific look, build your own style. Renew. Have plenty of ideas in your brain !
10. If you could go back to the beginning of your career, what piece of advice would you give your newbie self ?
Don't stay an assistant for too long ! But the best advice would be : create something.

FEATURED HAIR STYLIST INTERVIEW
1. What does this collection say about your mindset when you were creating it?
When I created this collection I was in a difficult relationship , an impossible love with a girl who was going to leave for a year in a country very far and who didn't want to start a relationship with someone before she goes. It made me think of the song from a French singer who is talking about extreme feelings you can have when you are in love!
2. Where do you most often find inspiration from? And when you lose it...what do u do to find it?
I find inspiration from what's around me in my life in general , like books , music , life street , art ... Inspiration has no limits , hopefully I will never lose it , fingers crossed!
3. What to tool would you never leave the house without? As well as product?
I never leave the house without my phone .
4. Why editorial, session work? So many say it’s a dead road... why did you continue to pursue this path?
Because session work is what inspires other people . Session stylist are creating the future trends and new looks . Our job is to make people who will read your magazine dream.
5. While on set, how do you stay focused?
On set when i'm working i'm at work , I mean i'm there to do a job and I put all my focus and knowledge to give the best of myself for the rest of the team . In this job you have to be very professional ! But after my job is done , i'm a very laid back person always joking with the rest of the team when they are working , so I guess it's more difficult for them to concentrate and stay focussed!
6. Share with us the most unexpected thing that has happened while on set, good or bad.-
The most embarrassing situation I've been on set was when the models I was styling were speaking about the angelfish government spending a lot of money on foreigners , and they were badmouthing people coming to the UK , and as I moved to the UK 3 years ago I felt a bit embarrassed ! That was an awkward situation!
7. Favorite quote or quotes you live by? And how do u apply them to your work? What is your personal mantra?
My mantra is I'll sleep enough once you'll die . Since the day I heard this quote , I have never stopped creating, I shoot, I work from the minute I get up!
8. Is there anyone experience(s) in particular that you feel has made the biggest impact on your career?
The biggest step in my career was when I moved in UK , 3 years ago , people are so open minded , I am still learning the language but moving has opened the doors another world ... my work took on another dimension
9. If you could go back to the beginning of your career, what piece of advice would you give your newbie self ?
I would advise myself to work harder and harder , listen to my gut feelings, and believe in myself
11. Favourite adult beverage? Why...and when did u first have one?
French wine of course because it's an institution , and I started too young!
