‘Despite from my morbid personality, I've always had a kid's heart , I just kept it somewhere in the drawer '.
Designer Yii has always believed that every child is an artist , they tend to be more adventurous in everything around them and it's amazing how curious they can be .
The label examines the idea on how kids would be inspired by things around them instead of an adult's point of view. It adventures to the idea of evolution ,interpreting them with a conceptual sense. Traditional tailoring details are reconstructed on top of the reconstitution, its mainly about ease , balance and minimal lines. Even if the smallest things happen around us they can depict imagery more likely to be found in dreams rather than reality. Inspiration for this season draws from analysis of a young boy with autism named Pito a soft deconstruction of the psychi. Having drawn surreal art pieces portraying characteristics of Pito, carefully focusing on the symptoms of Autism. From social development , repetitive behaviour to how the way they communicate. A widely misunderstood condition by most we can bring light to autism by showing that the world from the eyes of an autistic child could be beautiful. Yii named his debut womenswear 4 years Of PITO.
